Hindu Gods and Energy

The forms of Hindu Gods are picturised for a common man to understand. These forms are either social or scientific. Most of them are derived from the characteristics of "the then" living persons - male or female. However, some forms of the Gods teach social characters.

The main three forms of Hindu Gods are "Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh". It is believed according to the Hindu philosophy that Brahma is the Generator (creator) of this universe (living and non-living), Vishnu is the Operator or motivator and Mahesh is the Destroyer. This is how the word GOD has come. I do not disagree that there may be mythological stories behind this belief. But the mythologies must have come from some valuable preaching.

I am strong believer of scientific approach to ANY religion; so also Hindu thoughts.

Once I was trying to correlate the forms of energies with these three forms of Gods. And I realised that destruction (wear and tear) is the result of kinematics that is movement. The God Mahesh imparts and manages movements in universal objects (living and non-living). Can you look at it as the Kinetic Energy?

The God Vishnu is believed to be the Motivator. This means that this form of God has a potential to operate motions. I consider it as the Potential Energy as described in Physics.

If this is convincible, then what is Brahma. What is the implied meaning of this form of God? Hindus believe that the whole universe was created by Brahma.

Science explains the creation of universe through a "Big Bang". Let us go back. This big bang is actually destruction of those celestial bodies (or body) which resulted in the creation of smaller celestial objects. The big bang occurred due to collisions of nucleons emerging out of the excited atoms. Readers, I do not want to go into physical details of this theory. But what I want to stress here is that the ultimate form of energy in the particles was the "Rest Energy".This was discovered by Sir Albert Einstein in his Nobel Prize winning research stating E = mC(square). The rest energy is responsible for the big bang.

Brahma is this rest energy. The God Brahma depicts this rest energy associated with every body at rest in the universe.

The picturisation of the Gods is sicentific. A common man was not able to understand the scientific formulations of theories. Hence, these pictures of God were prepared for him.

Please comment on this thought, whether you agree or disagree with me!!
